there's a boy that plays the violin at nocturne.he's mostly quiet and keeps to himself. a bit of a dreamer, with the way his gaze tends to drift and never quite focus, before slipping to the floor. but when spoken to his eyes flick up, the deep brown warming as he listens with devoted attention.he's a very good listener -- aria moon.he has to be, in order to survive in stellaris.

the boy used to be a musician on earth. his mother was as well -- a harpist. the violin he treasures had been his grandfather's, a gift along with the time and lessons to master it. he'd enjoyed singing too ... but not any more. his sister was better at it anyway. and sometimes, when he was taken from the quarters, his masters enjoyed the sound of his voice only when it was in pain.like a song -- his original renter praised, during those two weeks when aria first learned what it meant to be a transactional commodity.now he avoids it -- singing.and it would be easy to remedy his status here -- or so he's told. a convenient quick fix, a miracle cure (hasn't he heard that pitch before) but how can he trust words from a tongue that's deceived, lured, tricked?he can't.he'll fucking do it himself.
